Businesses across ASEAN are under real pressure right now — economic uncertainty, shifting cross-border regulations, and technology disruption arriving faster than most organizations can absorb. Against that backdrop, the International Quality & Productivity Convention (IQPC) 2026 returns as the region’s annual stage for companies, academics, and quality practitioners to benchmark progress and compare notes on what actually works.
This marks the third edition of IQPC, and for the first time the event moves outside Indonesia — to The Berkeley Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, from September 14-16, 2026.
What Is IQPC 2026?
IQPC is an annual convention that brings together national and international companies, universities, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to showcase their quality and productivity improvement work. It’s built as more than a trade-show-style presentation — it’s a benchmarking arena, where a team’s improvement project gets measured directly against best practices from other organizations, while opening doors to a network of innovators and quality professionals from across the region.
The event is organized by the Indonesia Quality & Productivity Management Association (IQPMA) in collaboration with Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM), supported by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), with local hosting by The Association of QC Headquarters of Thailand (QCHQ).
The 2026 Theme: “Building Resilient and Sustainable Organizational Excellence”
This isn’t a throwaway conference tagline. “Building Resilient and Sustainable Organizational Excellence” is a direct call for organizations to build a foundation strong and adaptive enough to survive — and recover from — three pressures hitting simultaneously: economic volatility, regulatory change, and technological disruption. Resilience, this year, isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the entire premise.
Who Should Attend?
IQPC 2026 is designed for four groups:
- Companies — national or international, any industry, looking to showcase improvement projects and benchmark against top-performing peers.
- Universities & Academics — researchers and educators presenting new findings and connecting with industry practitioners.
- Nonprofits & Government Agencies — public-sector groups demonstrating their own quality initiatives.
- Quality & Productivity Professionals — quality managers, process improvement specialists, and innovation leaders expanding their network and expertise.

Getting Your Project Competition-Ready
Here’s the part most teams underestimate: a strong internal improvement project doesn’t automatically translate into a strong 15-minute stage presentation and a judge-proof Q&A. The two require genuinely different skills — data storytelling, defensible root-cause analysis, and presentation discipline under a hard 25-minute clock.
This is exactly the gap WKM has helped client teams close in past IQPC cycles — reviewing QCC and Six Sigma project documentation, tightening the narrative arc of a presentation, and running mock judge panels before teams go on stage. If your organization is preparing an entry for the Innovation Presentation Competition or a CSS talk and wants a second set of eyes on the project before the August 10 deadline, that’s a conversation worth having now rather than in week two of August.
